82 How Can Daily Mass Benefit You?
Friday Oct 14, 2022
Friday Oct 14, 2022
The Eucharist is like a Furnace of Love. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is there, offering Himself for our salvation, worshipping God the Father, praying for us, and giving thanks for so many blessings we receive. When we receive Jesus—this Furnace of Love—in communion, our love is increased, and we receive all the graces necessary to become holy. Today we talk about why it will benefit you to attend mass and receive Communion frequently!

81 You Can Visit Mount Calvary Every Week!
Friday Oct 07, 2022
Friday Oct 07, 2022
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to go to Mount Calvary, in Jerusalem, where our Lord was crucified, and there pray and bring to God all our intentions and concerns? Don’t people pay lots of money to go there? Well, we can do that without going so far. Whenever we attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we are as it were, at the foot of the Cross, being present at the very same sacrifice of Christ on the Cross, although offered in an unbloody manner.

Can bread actually turn into real flesh at the words of a priest? Can wine actually turn into blood? Yes, it can… and it actually did! Today, I share some insights on what are the Eucharistic Miracles, and I speak particularly on the miracle of Lanciano and the miracle of Orvieto. And how St. Thomas Aquinas wrote his famous hymns in honor of the Eucharist.

76 Catholic English Martyrs and Saints
Friday Sep 02, 2022
Friday Sep 02, 2022
Today I’m joined by Brendan Dewan, a recent graduate from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, and currently a FOCUS missionary in Ball State University, Indiana. He recently did a pilgrimage to England. He visited the sites connected to many English Martyrs of the Catholic Church, who were persecuted, tortured and executed by the English government after Henry VIII separated from the Catholic Church and established the Church of England. He shares his reflections and the things he learned in those most holy places, and we talk about St. Thomas More and St. Edmund Campion who were martyrs, and we share some thoughts about St. John Henry Newman.

In this episode I share some thoughts about what are the most important effects of Baptism in our life, and what are we called to thanks to this Sacrament. The North American Martyrs are some of the most amazing men in history. They are 8 Jesuits who gave their lives to bring eternal life to the Hurons and other Native Americans. While they all have incredible stories, Fr. Charles Garnier (1606-1649) is known to have died because he stayed behind with a group of Petuns who were surely going to be massacred.
