72 The Sacraments, Wellsprings of Divine Grace
Friday Jul 29, 2022
Friday Jul 29, 2022
Today I present a general review of what are the Sacraments, and how they are the spiritual link to our Lord Jesus Christ. They are the connection to the source of all graces, which is the mystery of the Cross of our Lord. From the Cross come all the graces we receive, and they reach us through the seven sacraments. These concepts may seem basic, but they’re a key foundation to understanding all the sacramental life of the Church. Listen in to understand why these sacraments are necessary for your salvation!

69 You Are Standing on Holy Ground
Friday Jul 08, 2022
Friday Jul 08, 2022
Why was the ground Moses was standing on “holy ground”? (Exodus 3:5). Why did Jesus expel the money-changers and people who sold animals from the Temple of Jerusalem? (John 2:13). It’s because “sacred” things, places, times and people are meant to be treated in a different way than things that we have for daily (or “profane”) use. Today we’ll speak about why some things are sacred, and what makes them different!
More info on these sacred signs can be found in the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (note: this is a summary of the “Catechism”), numbers 92, 236-237, 240, 244-246, 254. You can find the Compendium of the Catechism online here: [Link]

68 Sacramentals and Relics – How to Use Them?
Friday Jul 01, 2022

Many miracles have happened thanks to touching or praying before the relics of the saints. Powerful signs have taken place by means of a miraculous medal or the Scapular of our Lady of Mount Carmel. But what are Sacramentals and what are the Relics of the Saints? Can we venerate these things? Is it not a kind of “Catholic superstition”? In this episode we talk about these amazing means that God has to deliver His grace and help to us!

Friday Jun 03, 2022
Friday Jun 03, 2022
The Martyrs of Abitene (Tunisia) were tortured and executed for celebrating Mass on Sunday under the persecution of Diocletian (4th Century A.D.). What was so important in the Eucharist that they “couldn’t live without the Mass”? What does the Lord promise to give us through the Eucharist and the Sacraments? What gave these men and women the courage to die for Christ?
